for me it always works this way:

i want to make ubers = i won't find any keys...

i kill invocator rushing another guy = a key always drops but i let all drops for the rushee... (let's say it's my policy)

now, just like you, i kill any of those 3 mfs just because, or trying to mf something else = bum! a key is dropped.

it's like if the game could know what i need so it won't cooperate lol
