Ppl wont go back to old D2. Cant play more than an hour of this game without my eyes bleeding.

Well i have not played warzone for a few weeks, login in now and exspecting at least 2 patches who have dropped my fps by 10 each.

D2 flows nice.
D2R lag.

I like that d2r is new, but i would rather play without lags and with wsg and other stuff.

Lot's of good responses, seems like most disagree with me. While I do believe items except GG and undroppable items will approach 0. I still believe D2 will survive, unless Blizzard actually switches the servers off.

I want to add that I have no alternative motive. I have no GG or undroppable items. I returned to D2 due to Covid, and don't sit on any GG items.

Another factor that has not been brought up is that Yogi and Snow are now spending their hard gained FG buying items, which increases the liquidity of FG again. If someone who has grinded D2R decides they want to buy a character or two again in D2 again, they will press up the prices as they are now willing to spend more than earlier as they have a massive surplus in D2 terms.

Before people quote and argue: I am not saying I am correct. Just throwing some thoughts out there.

I don't play D2 nor D2R atm. Haven't played either for a month and a half.

D2LOD and classic items are priceless. I will stick to D2LOD and if anyone wants me to keep some GG items safe lmk.

Don't feel sorry for us that have 08 valks as most of us still priv duel since D2r is shit for pvp m8

pretty sure the cringe will exist for those who actually "duel" and excel at it (ew) to the last dying days of d2.
But then again, it's no one else's business to be involved or informed when it comes time to be a die hard d2 dueler.
Most of us are well past those days. Anyone holding onto that status is not one to look up to. Or down upon. Cuz that shit is sad.

Their value is whatever people are willing to pay.

Anyone who still logged on to OG d2 before d2r was announced likely has been playing the game for 15-20 years, 30's - 40's etc. and these pixels have intrinsic value.

Having said that, most of the good stuff are basically Show and Tell disguised as trade threads.

that said, most of us can actually afford them items. Those who can't aren't worth trading with anyways.
