I actually did that once, following a bot who had Baal done. I’d unparty right before Baal and steal xp. Got to about 70 that way. Was kinda fun having no title on ladder. Ofc that was many years ago. Nowadays the ladder is 85+ after 24 hours of new ladder. Dumb.

i've seen 70, no higher

Ended at level 85ish. IIRC level 80 was like the same amount of runs for a 99, or maybe slightly more.

Jebus... that must take a long time.....


At current, just started out playing again (HCL) .. about a week. Doing quest bugged baalruns solo in Normal. I figure that, i was planning to do Chaos runs since it is faster. But i accidentally did the quest ..

Either way, probably done about 30-40 runs solo now, and already at level 47, starting at about 29 (after Chaos runs). So you do get a lot of experience doing such runs. It took a while the first 10 runs, but when you start finding better gear and skilling up the most important skills, you do get a lot faster.

And the next plan is to advance to Chaos Nightmare runs to do quest bugged Diablo runs there .. but he is level 62, while normal Baal is level 60. So it is pointless unless you have found proper gear and is certain you can endure the stronger monsters. NM Diablo has about 90 000 hit points, normal Baal has about 26 000. So there really is little point in advancing before you are truly ready.

Only reason is to get more experience faster though.

And also, normal monsters can drop better items... character is bowzon.

Reaching level 81 in normal is amazing
I expected to see 65 or so max!
