No one any idea left ?
Support just always say the same things but a friend couldnt ieven login once after he bought the game on blizzard website so only thing left would.be vpn etc but.o one of us uses something like that.
Someone now if any providers use a "hidde " vpn or.somthing lile it? So that you could temp banned for.this even if you are not using something on your own?

Yes, you cant connect from Business, or VPN, or its a temp ban (What you're experiencing). Do not try to login more than 5 times in a row with the same IP, or create more than 20 games an hour or you get temp banned. I have xfinity, so anytime I get temp banned, I just connect to a local xfinitywifi or enable it on my modem, and bypass the R/d.

I am not using any Business or VPN but hms... maybe this could be the issue of me baaling/chaosing a lot in fast time and joining more than 20 games in an hour then I get the cannot create/join game and I keep trying to loggin in Bnet and got this message of looking like i was botting and got this IP banned. I think if next time if that happens, i just logged off disconnect my verizon box and use my phone hotspot wifi to play for a bit before I switch it back up to my verizon fios box modem connection.

connect to your mobile hotspot and see if it works

if it does, your ip was flagged for a maximum of 3 weeks.

if you weren't using a vpn, i'd assume your temp ban will be over much sooner

I had the same problem, I reboot my modem after 10 minutes of shutdown,
then I carry out these manipulation under CMD
ipconfig / flushdns
ipconfig / renew

then I restart diablo and it was good !!

Welcome to the club.
Since 36hours i have "checking versions......." and then "please try later", on both of my legit and years old blizz digitally purchased keys. I tried logging from Mobile Hotspot: same error. Do not use any kind of third party programs as i dont want to risk my years of work. Legit clean installs.

Made a ticket but now its weekend so i doubt Ill get a response :D and they asked for alot of files and shit to even submit such.

Hope this will get lifted soon. All i can do is wait i guess since i will not fuck around with VPN or Proxy as i cant risk breaking ToS nomatter how unlikely acc ban is said to be.

Proxy/new ip from ISP and buy a new legit key is what ppl reccomend me usually. If it doesnt lift soon i might consider calling an asking ISP for new IP (i dont have dynamic ip i guess) and buy a new key.

The level of frustration this archaic restriction system d2/bnet has is huge.

Some say blizzard has imposed harder restrictions (e.g. on fresh keys) due to the amount of proxy mass botting going on at ladder atm.

I tried disconnecting my ethernet connecting to my Verizon fios box then used mobile hotpot for wifi connection. Still didnt work, I think they flagged my cd key and IP address so even if I got new ip address, I could log in. 2 weeks ban is brutal. I dunno what the hell they said I'm using some maxihost llc vpn. Never ever used it or heard of it, since I just use Verizon fios resentia internet. Sighs, thanks tho Billy

I tried this as well but still didnt work, they say I have to wait 2 weeks. That or either purchase a new cd key and call my ISP to get a new IP address as well. Otherwise just wait.

Yeah I'm in the same boat as you right now. Sending a ticket to blizz bnet and they ask me to send massive files and then they told me I am ban for 14+ days until 4/30/20 or 5/1/20, nothing they can do and I have to wait it out. This is kinda BS, I never used any hacks or bots or vpn like they mention.

So I think i found a solution to this problem guys.

At first, I tried everything and I can't connect with my direct connection IP address from Verizon Fios box with the Ethernet and I tried using the Mobile hostpot as wifi as well.

But today I tried connecting it from my mobile hotspot again and it worked. I guess they do not tagged any CD keys, they only tag your IP address, so I guess everyday u just keep trying and just connect to the mobile hotspot wifi and use that as ur new IP address then you could log on sooner and not wait the 14 days+ or so.

So if you got family members at home, just keep trying different cell phones mobile hotspot until it works. This worked for me, please see the below :)





Hope this topic would help anyone in the future as for reference. D2 community gamers, team works makes the dream work guys, thank you all! <3 :thumbsup:
