As soon as I had read your posting, I just remembered that if the the account had been used with some hacks in the past even if it was just to follow a bot, all of my accounts and cd-key might be flagged when I log into their acct. Yeah nothing i can do while bugged, there is still some things i want to try tho i doubt they will help, like getting someone to open cow level portal right next to me etc.

I wonder if they changed something last year with how the server handles cursor item on bnet. This bug you have describe I've never seen any post about it.

Force traveling with Warriv should still work on bnet, but that would have no effect on cursor items. The other two isn't possible with items on cursor.

the "bugged" item can be inserted (or swapped): belt buffer, equipment, merc-equipment.
i can reproduce this bug, indirect drop trick with imbue didn't work, selling to NPC didn't work.
i even went that far and bugged the Horadric Staff and that could not be removed from the cursor either (0x44) :lol:
dying with the item on cursor would have helped though (i have tried that too!).

I see. So after you do any of those actions you are able to sell to the NPC now?

Were you interacted with the orifice? If I remember correctly you need interaction with the orifice to use it on bnet.

the item is no longer in your cursor then and you are free to do anything again :)
