COD recently did a remaster but they seemingly botched it. People who played the original said it didn't "feel" the same and then they added new paid DLC that changed the entire meta.

Typically "re-mastering" a game refers to updating video and sound. Likely will include bug/exploit fixes in the game (duping being the big one), as well as better monitoring/banning of 3rd party hacks.

Hopefully they dont change much because I dont trust Blizzard-Activision to not fuck it up like they did with Diablo 3.

Although, in their defense, Overwatch seems to get great reviews overall.

I just wouldn't be surprised if they added game-changing paid DLC just because they can make a crapload off it even if it ruins the game.
