How long does it take you to kill a mob of gorebellys and ghoul lords? Just curious, a stable fb sounds a lot easier then telekinesis happy.gif

At first you are going to clean the whole area, then u start to static the ci-monster till its hitpoints seems to be almost gone. Now Use Telekenesis to finish him.
The es build will do a much better job in this case (for example: lvl 15 tk does 15-16 damage)
Another possibility would be to finish the monster with a shard-melee-attack^^

act 2 hell, there are cold immunes

gorebellys, ghoul lords, and unravelers. How long does it take to static and kill them with telekinesis? Especially if they are mobs, surrounding the oracle or the summoner.

only claw vipers may spawn near amulet

and draw ghouls away from summoner its not hard

I just completely disagree that hybrids are bad, i've been using fb/orb since i think s3, and it gets the job of clearing any area quick.

I prefer killing "whats not needed to kill", whether its claw viper and his buddies camping the amulet, elites/mobs of ghoul lords surrounding the summoner, or if its a bunch of champion/elite unravelers and gorebellys inside of the oracle room.

I just don't see why you guys prefer luring the monsters away instead of killing them

the term rush implies speed and/or efficiency. the single element cold sorc is very efficient and fast at rushing all of norm/nm and then act 1 hell literally in minutes.

act 2 hell is the only part where they sometimes stumble - the fact that it's not always an issue means for most of us playing classic, that it's just more efficient to have the maximum killing efficiency where it's needed (the first 9 acts worth of rushing) and either lure away, or remake the game - or fire up loader and grab a 2nd char to clear those areas, or page someone on the /f list. I should add, that most of us dedicated to playing classic will also most often use this build and in fact specific sorc for other uses than simply rushing for forge (a useless quest on classic). Most are also set up for hell Andy/Mephy Glitching or lighthearted SvS builds - neither of which is well suited for dual element trees.

if one is going "pro rusher" status and rushing mass quantities of folks in 8 person games, time-after-time-after-time then it's warranted to have the 2nd char regardless.

I will also say again, based on a couple years worth of having high level dames, that I have yet to see nm seis spawn ColdImmune/LightningImmune - but he fairly frequently is Cold/Fire Immune.

For those that point out he's still cold immune and that it presents a challenge - one or three hard points into lightning mastery combined with a +2, +thunderstorm or electric tree shopped staff,when combined with static field spamming will kill seis, even in a full 8 person game. I've ended countless full nm cow games in that fashion...

A correct hybrid is also very efficient and fast at rushing all of norm and nightmare, why wouldn't it? The missing ~120 orb damage is replaced with 2 2k+ damage fireballs, everything still dies quick. And in hell, I've been told that I kill andy lot quicker than a pure cold sorc many times.

I like to keep my rushes simple. Extremely fast, no one dies, no remaking the game, and no help from other sorces or hammerdins.

I'm not saying that pure cold sorc is bad, personally i'd like to try it one day, but I really disagree with your guys opinions on hybrids.

Okay, some people use their sorc to glitch meph/andy or due, but i'm sticking with the thread name, a classic rush sorc guide tongue.gif
