It wont be, the devs are pvm oriented, they don't care about balance. That kind of mind set will never change unless the lot of them are fired and actual people with experience with Diablo 2 actually start working on it. I've been down this road before~ don't waste your time thinking it will get better.

im one of those people who only play d2 lod and its because blizzard has completely shit all over the diablo franchise since blizzard north disolved in 2005 and i refuse to buy another blizzard game because they're all just half assed cash grabs. after the release of diablo 3 i lost all faith in blizzards ability to make a decent game. it actually annoys me when u tards get excited for the new diablo games. diablo 3 has been released 3 different times now (diablo 3, diablo immortal, diablo 4) ALL the same game and yet everyone gets excited for it and spends $80 just to play the same boring ass shity game and as far as im concerned d2r is just the same game as d2 lod but with shit smeared all over it

Why u think it is the most shitty graphiced game with a actual good pvp engine that most of the times beat those new gen games? dev want it to be licked and smooth but like Europolita said before, it comes at the price of hitboxes that dont apply correctly anymore,

take for example CSGO
Another example The OG COD series if u ever played.
Its the same with D2, the actual game is good and its what true pvp legends want ofc we dont need the fancy graphic shit, my pc can afford it non the less.

Also dont forget the items like Bugbelt, Hybrids, 08's etc.
Also i guess the community that is left in eu sc nl is nice.

20+ year old game with good pvp will last longer than this bs remake catered to bots and pvm’ers. pvm players are always just casuals. they come and go just like d2r and there’s no economy without pvp players buying the good items

This is a good summary of D2R. All systems/interface involved with social interaction are awful.

Many players have sick items that you can’t mf anymore. Bugged items like .08 valks, .08 shakos, 30frw/20fhr/high str/41-50 resist boots, wizzy gloves, viper bludgeon, bugbelts, tals armor, 5frw scs, and tons more. You can’t get those on D2R.

Also, PvP changes.

Sunder charms are crap and changed the game completely. D2R and old school D2 aren’t the same.

There is a friend's list and its objectively better. it has a GUI, has a capacity of 400 battle tags, is the same across all blizzard games, etc etc etc
