had shingles when i was 17
had it on my dick
literally right in the crease between my leg and my balls
without a doubt the most painful thing i've ever gone through
it was funny because when i got it diagnosed, the dr was straight up like 'you've got herpes kid'
i was like wut
"herpes ...zostra!"
which is apparently the real name for it
freaked my mom the fuck out in any case
yeah it's definitely not fun
dr gave me some cream to rub on it and the only way i could stay out of pain was to not move a single inch
it was gone in about a week tho

had a friend in chiro school who had it on her dome
she was like dead for like a week
and still experienced headaches and itching awhile after

On my right arm/chest/back. I dont really have any pain just burning/itching rash. The hospital was amazed I dont have "paralyzing pain". I've had it for a week and just thought it was a rash. I asked if I could go back to work and got told no because i am incredibly contagious. Oops.
