Another option is to not let the bots come into the game. (This is my own preference.)

In Normal, I set the level restriction to within 4 of my own level. If I'm 21, I set it to 17. If I use my level 90 sorc to create a giveaway game in normal, I set it to 86.

In Nightmare I will set the restriction to within 10 of my level. (There are some glitch rushed low level spam bots.)

And for Hell, I set it to within 20.

While this does block level 1 mules from getting in, it prevents the spam and if you need that level one mule, just make a passworded game.

I don't know where you play, but here in europe bots are all over lvl 9X. Are the same chars that shops used to make mf.

Your way to keep the bots out worked till 1-1,5 years ago.

I've been playing on US East and it's worked fine for me. As they say YMMV. (Your mileage may vary)

i play on east and bots are levels 1-93, your shitty system wont keep out bots.
