yup, i play it moderately, think capt is still playing, always with himself from what I hear. Laura just downloaded it.
Pat was playing a lil but decided its not d2 so he stopped playing, joe was playing and have not seen him in quite some time
Cj was playing a ton, but have not seen him on in a couple weeks so dunno where he went
its free, its nostalgic to old school d2
however, end game is boring at this point. of course there are roughly 10 planned acts, and there are currently only 3.
certainly the game is not perfect, but its well worth playing through at least a couple times, grinding end game isnt worth it right now imo
the absolute best part about it is the dev team, they keep you up to date on everything that is going on. they even have a development blog where they just let people know what some of their ideas for changes and development in the future and the direction of the game.
there are also seasons, which are short races of varying objectives with varying rewards. the pvp is meh at this point, but they do plan a cut-throat league which is a little more like d2 dueling.
first night I played i was on all night, only planned to play a couple hours. next thing I knew i was late for work. reminds me of d2
i played it for a little based on recommendations awhile ago made it to merciless and got bored of dying
