the bot-flagging was never intended to shame bots
in my opinion that wouldn't be a glorious output at all.
it is onlty meant to provide a fair competitive list for those who play legit

we are thankful for every fan/follower/supporter, regardless of their playing style

i am just curious aboout maizak, he was very active bumping here when his barb was about to hit 99 although he wasnt visible on the legit ladder



i am pretty sure many botters are good for the community and maybe bots are the main reason this game is still alive, most active people here have botted at one time for mf, i had one myself 9years ago. rontu is one of the rare cases who never used one and now he has to do so because of his ladder tracking
but where is the excitement watching a bot go for level 99? if you do it just because you want a high lvl pvp char i even get botting for exp but please stay out of ladder competition then. that sorcbot which did #1 was actively whispering doh-benny and laughing at us for being slow when he was on 98, what is the reason people doing stuff like this? this is what i´d like to understand

i´m still happy after reading your comment though, good to know botters are willing to support sth like this

@darular I think it's very important a site like this to see who still plays legit and reaches 99. In my case I botted the 99 Barb and will do next season until ban. I almost don't play anymore but like having 99s in my collection.

I'm curious what kind of checks are being made to determine if the user is a bot or not.
There may be some pitfalls in what I'm assuming are the checks being made.

of course there are
lets be honest, the best mechanisms to detect bots are ingame
the only information we have is experience points over time

so we have some parameters (which we tested against known legit and known bot players) to run our bot detection by analysing the past experience values
