If you have static ip, and you have 2 exact same routers (hardware), then change the router, it should give a fresh new ip because its another router.

There is an account realm down and an ip realm down.
If your IP is down over 3 days it's account realm down.

Also be carefull with following charnames

For example if you have
NameA
NameB
NameC
NameD
NameE
NameF
NameG
NameH

i can confirm they check up on this kind of things, i had a few of those chars that tryed to join at the same time from the same ip, sadly, they all got account down, instantly from diffrent ips, even on another realm same story.. They see patrons, and they look for that.. Got a name generator and created random names for my chars, that solved my issue. Still got some Server down messages by the way, but after a few minutes it connected fine and all my server down bullcrap is gone

i got struck today for the first time and it seems to be a while until i can play. is there a general rule for gametime/time between games that one can follow so that this shit wont happen again? im annoyed haha

It doesn't appear that anything you do affects the length of your ban. It appears to be completely random ranging anywhere from a few minutes to 12 hours to 24 hours to 1 week to 2 weeks. I'm guessing the length of your ban depends on how severe your offense was or how many times you've triggered their conditions for bannable offense (i.e. multiple accounts/cdkeys creating games at the same time, too many games per hour... etc result in longer bans)

If you don't want to get banned, do the following:

1. Limit yourself to 10 games per hour or less
2. Wait 2-3 minutes between creating games
3. Don't create and leave games too quickly on mules.
4. When creating games with multiple characters, make sure each of them doesn't overlap and creates their new game several minutes apart from the other characters.
5. Try to make your games as long as possible so muling/trading doesn't get you banned according to rule #1

Ok guys , You wanna be baffled? Here you go.

!. Got server down/game does not exist over 120 hours ago
2. changed my IP serveral times
3. New keys fresh install
4. new battlenet account in someone's name that the keys are licensed
5. new D2 account

I log in think I'm good to re-roll and start over. Nope, after all that, I still get server down/game does not exist. How the fuck?

I have a friend in Michigan far far away from me. He logs that acct and gets the same message

I can play on west all I want but if try to do anything on east ...server down/game does not exist

So, please call me a noob and tell me it's just ip related .I dare you

This is also account bound.

I connected to my phone's hotspot and I can log into a random account, but not the one that was originally downed.

Fun stuff.
