my d2 errors whenever somone talks to me on msn when im joining a game

to fix the 'your cd key is being used by yourself thing'
ctrl+alt+delete
then in the Processes tab it should say an extra Diablo II is running, meaning if you have one copy of d2 open, it will say that there is 2 copies of d2 running, and if d2 is not open at all, it'll say 1 copy is running
so just end all the diablo II tasks and it should be fine
reason why it says your cd key is being used by yourself is because it acts like d2 is already open
idk weird glitch
