no, this is plain minecraft. I'm not going to mod anything.
I could do it myself but I didn't want people to have to install mods to play it and my server is established in a way that I couldn't change it.. after 3 years.

No need to wait for anything, if you want to play on the server go ahead, we have many worlds. diablo is just a sideproject.

As I've said in the first post...
I'm making the quests just like in d2. With command blocks and redstone you can do pretty much anything as long as you know how to. Luckily I have a very good base in redstone and electronics in general.
Not doing any mods though. If I wanted to use different models and add stuff in the game I would have made my own game.
