It's the resets that kept the game alive, not the 30 snobby duelers. Dueling sucks and this game has always been a side game at best.

This. Pvp is unbalanced in d2lod, it is unbalanced in D2R. Pvp community made rules to balance d2lod pvp, now make rules to balance d2r pvp and move on. oh wait, 800x600 is just so beautiful

D2R is better than D2L in pretty much every aspect except obviously continuation of your account from before D2R...

The bug fixes and the mere fact that it has the potential to bring updatess to the table including semi-reliable QoL updates while being true to the original (bugs not included), means it doesnt make sense to stay on D2L.

The only way I can see it make sense for someone to stay on D2L is if a circle of friends were able to reliably have sessions together and enjoy their old chars/gear, otherwise there is no point in having godly shit if its not used for its purpose, just rebuild on d2r.

the only thing D2R has over LoD is the fact your characters dont expire
but they do get deleted out of boredom coz the pvp sucks
