yeah no doubt, nothing will draw us all in and hold us like d2 did.
I checked out tanks, but its just not my style.
Really I don't game much at all anymore. No time, nothing holds my interest that much either. Counter strike can keep me playing forever, but i got sick of dealing with all the south americans who dont even speak spanish correctly, much less english.
I am interested in checking out PoE, so I will at least do a playthru. It is sposed to be impossible to reach the max level, so perhaps something like a baal run can be found for the game to spend months working towards lvl 100.
The game is free and already better than d3, and more like d3 should have been. And you can't pay to win.
The most impressive thing to me was when they launched open, their servers were having trouble with the volume of people, so they bought new servers and hooked them up right away. The realm went down for less than 10 minutes two times in the first 4 hours, and every time they do anything, or have any problems they send a message in game, as well as have it posted right at the top of their website. Never were we all sitting around wondering wtf was going on.
They also released a new act with the open, and there was a bug with the end boss in a3, so they fixed that and a couple other things right away.

been a long time since I felt newbish about any game.
There is definitely a lot to learn about the mechanics of the skills and the passive tree. I didnt realize how long this game has been in closed beta, so there are actually people that already know all about it. However, builds are always being tweaked and nerf'd if they are over powered, so there are no set guides to making an OMGWTFOWNAGE character.
