was trying to figure out a system of gambling based on mods and items that drop lately this should make it easier

well on classic many years ago a few of us would do small fg wagers on socketed items that dropped in the chaos sanctuary. basically every item can spawn with only a certain amount of sockets and we'd all guess how many sockets would spawn before we picked it up and we'd split the pot accordingly. my way of thinking was if i found and logged enough items I could come up with some better odds to include more items like rares. trying to figure the odds that an armor might spawn with life or with a certain amount of ed then doing actual math to figure out the odds and have a real system that you could use with anyone. ive been trying to wrap my mind around it and what I need to do for weeks but it just breaks my brain lmao

instead of everyone playing poker it could open up actually playing diablo 2 on jsp and gambling that way
