There are multiple ways to get you flagged :
- Number of package sent
- Number of caracters wrotten / seconds (like these useless Instant TP hot, 3 revives, 1 bruning souls etc.)
- Any easily way to track these kind of action, but let's not get into it.
Anyway, so once you're flagged, to indentify yourself, they track the IP and CD keys.
Each time you change your CD Keys on a flagged IP it will flag the new CD Key as well. The same way, if you bot a cd key online, which might have been used for botting before, by playing 100% legit on this cd key, you'll still get your mule acc banned.
Here should be a pretty easy way for banning people massively :
- Put metrics to flags "users"
- Flag them "Cd keys, IP, account names.
- Gather data for a while (let them mule, abuse, etc so they feel enpowered).
- Ban
- Rinse and repeat.
Now let's hope that they put incentives for this game so that people don't leave too much, cause let's be honest, Bots were really helpfull for replacing over and over people leaving the game.

yeah they could do it easily but they don't want to for years as this game is cold, doing more won't bring any players back. Blizz coder himself will like dupe/hacks to stay to make $. This ban is just weird as it involves going r/d changing ip.
