I think the rarest items are the uniques that haven't dropped yet...

I don't remember but I'm pretty sure there is a ring that is in the game but has never dropped.

you have no idea what you're talking about. This is a 1.09 stormshield with the defense of a 1.08 ss. There were many that spawned in 2001 when 1.09 came around, few are left.

evidence:


defense of shields (1.10) [has not changed since 1.08]

defense of unique SS. (1.09 and later)

meh some are fun..
tho not the only Garreat 08 in existance, I had one perm(Without name) between patch 1.08 to 1.11 before the banwave>
so there were at least 2.

Man we are saying the same thing and I absolutely know what I mean.

1.08 Stormshield was on Aegis.
1.09 Stormshield was on Monarch and maximum defense on plain Monarch was 161, so the Stormshield (if perf) had 164 Def at lvl 1, 532 at lvl 99.
1.10+ Stormshield is on Monarch but the maximum defense on a Plain monarch is now 148 therefore a perfect stormshield has now 151 Def at lvl 1, 519 at lvl 99.

In other words during 1.09 the Monarch had 161 max def (or the same defense of an Aegis, if you prefer) and the proof is that there are still some JMOD with 161 defense around.


I just wanted to point out that if you are considering Europe there are 3 Perfect ones around and not 2, as you said. That's all.

the ring ur talking about, constricting ring is listed in the game files, but it has a 0, instead of a 1, in the "completed" column in uniqueitems.txt, which makes it undroppable.
Also afaik in 1.10 it was completely deleted from uniqueitems.txt( or not?)

It was commonly spawned in earlier patches when importing was easier. (Back when things like white items were prominent on closed battle.net). It's never been implemented in the actual drop table.

Con Ring, could get them in 1.09. Traded for two of them right before Rust Storm was announced.

Not that I lost anything anyway - I traded an Ith Sword and a CHBQ for them.

just because you could get them doesn't mean they were ever implemented in drop table.

ith swords and other bugged items usually abused exploits to create/generate, constricting ring required third party programs to obtain.
