*sigh* the Soh looks like the staff's that the fallen shamans hold in act 1 ( or any of their cousins, i.e. carvers, dark ones.)

also, ne 1 notice at ur items when ur inside one of the 3 red portals?

in the forgotten sands, the background is not its normal hue of green, but instead it is grey

in the matron den: blue

and in the furnace of pain: redish yellow

dunno if that's of any significance...but just my input.

vahn, thats true ^ i noticed that too

also in frigidlands when u go way up north and go into those portals (the red ones) forgot what they're called. put your mouse-cursor over an item and the backround turns yellow..

it makes me wonder... theres something to be discovered here.. blink.gif

I think that the charm is something a level 90 will need, hence the name. I think it forshure it has a purpose, hence the level 90 req. And im also thinking it has something to do with the new part of the storyline because they could have just added it in to another part. Thats my 3 cents, happy bla laugh.gif bla laugh.gif bla laugh.gif blaing laugh.gif

i re-read this post and did some thinking..

as i said in my last post, the Soh looks like a fallen shamans staff/flag right?

well...on the site it says "from the den of evil to the throne of destruction"

and what monsters do u find in those 2 areas? Fallens...

in the den u find them everywhere, and in the throne, they are the 1st minions that baal summons.

i dont have an explaination for it, im just saying its not just coincidence...

btw...still dont know y they background is different in the portals...stumper..

Has anyone compared the Look of a soh to that of the flag by the Den in act 1?
Also when carrying a soh in inventory chat with the NPC's and see what they tell you. Something about an amazon being good with a bow in act1 helll.

Just a though.......keep on trucking rolleyes.gif

Remeber the solution is in the storyline not random guessing.

weren';t there hacks back in 1.10 that ripped your item from ram, and made an item file ouit of it, even with the hidden stats (such as how much exactly piercing arrow a weapon would have for example).

also, let's remember it still has to fit within a 1.11 character file with the same items format. i'll make tons of SCs and put 1 of each of the non visible powers in there just for fun, seeing if one is req level 90 on a sc

edit: ok, t will take way too much time since most have variable values, so anything could make it ilvl 90, but i find it interesting that there's an not visible attribute whose only purpose is to set a specific level restriction, beyond the prefix and suffic. I don't remember seeing that back in 1.10, which would lead me to suspect that they made that one just to make thew SOH lvl 90 and screw with our minds

as well, there's 2 things i haven't been able to see the difference with or without, wondering if anyone knows what they do. "Double Herb duration" and "extra blood"

2rd edit: oh right anyone thought of seeing if sometimes curses miss you? that's another NV attribute, curse resist.

here's yet another list of things to test:
magic pierce and absorb
also it's possible to put a passiva asassin's weapon block
all states in the game, also, could be altered theoricaly, such as never getting stunned, or slowed or thawed. worth checking too.
passive avoid/dodge/evade maybe making stats of how often you get hit exactly by a friend testing with you under each circumstance, depending on which you test, with or without the SOH
there's also NV attack speed as well.

that should keep SOH owners and friends pumping testrs and stats to confirm/infirm possible attributes. Personaly i have none and am in the process of tryign to solve 1.11 induced crashes.
