depends on budget. imo it is an ok upgrade while still being way cheaper than any BIS build
you get resists, some strength, some mf, dr
especially sorc is not that needy for the stat points in pvm, so spending 40 points more or less in vita or energy does not matter that much. and you save yourself the second high rune compared to enigma, as well as all the additional gear/inventory you would need to get up your resists in hell mode

For budget, Viper is an opinion. Using Ber rune to CoH is waste, it should be used to either Infy or Enigma.

Ive used juwelers gothic plate of the whale with 4 x fire facets in for my fire sorcs!
Been a blast!

Also tested other setups, running pheonix etc.... the 4facet armor has performed best and out damaged the others - also.... cool red look for a fire soso??

CoH is shit and only to be used as merc armor for certain setups. Recommending any class wear CoH = absolute noob

This is the correct answer except pure damage blizz sorc will wear Ormus on occasion.

Also the bonus to being able to switch enigma to your other characters that lack teleport until you can afford multiples
