random fun fact:
In the Spanish version of the game the voices were great, seriously, they maintained the essence of the game
now, regarding the translation... they did a good job too but with the hollow ones they simply messed it up lol
idk if they use a program to make a translation automatically or something, but instead of taking the name as: "the one that is hollow", the translators considered the name of the monster as two separate words: hollow + one. in Spanish "hollow" as a noun can mean hole and one as the number. so the name of this mob in Spanish is: "HUECO UNO" whose literal translation is "hole one" xD
of course when I was a kid I didn't know what that meant, now that I know English, I figured it out and even today I laugh about it

Imagine the Travincal outside your house at 3AM
lol when I was a kid I thought the same in the game. When you reach travincal for the first time they explain that they settled in the dock of kurast because they were pushed by the monsters and etc... and I pictured those inhabitants sleeping at night and suddenly these monsters together with lords of night and so on coming out of nowhere... oof that was nightmare fuel
