I would say no, you just need way too much dex to reach maxblock. Normal attacks are usually not an issue, because u have the merc, golem and skellies (even if it's only 5-7) to tank these.

I recommend going max lightres and fireres, maybe with some small charms. Coldres should be somewhat fine naturally, because TO gloves ( and spirit ) give you some.
Some people may say max res will be a waste, but i really like being unkillable as a necro

going max block for a pvm necro is not worth it. if you are using homunculus for whatever reason and have a lot of dex gear you can do it for style, but with spirit shield it just costs you a ton of star point without too much of a benefit

Idk from all the advice iv gathered and I was able to max res with 7mf 11 res scs he clears every boss in he'll I'm still missing 2 rings
