I remember reading/my understanding is that you will be able to access the non ladder shared stashes from your characters from the previous ladder.

The characters that were created during this ladder season will have access to 7 stashes (1 character stash, 3 past ladder shared stashes, 3 non ladder shared stashes) for a limited period of time.

During this limited period of time, you will be able to take items or gold from the past ladder shared stashes but not put anything there.

After the delay elapses, these past ladder stared stashes will be deleted or rendered inaccessible.

No worries. Addendum: the limited time you will have to retrieve these items/gold from the shared stash is until the new ladder starts.

So for example, if the current ladder (#1) ends on September 1st, which is when ladder #2 starts, and ladder #2 ends of March 1st, which is when ladder #3 starts, then you will be able to retrieve/move the items/gold from the shared stashes of characters from ladder #1 from September 1st to February 28th, that is for the length of ladder #2.

These dates are fictional.
