ebotdz main and beastz offhand

Really? So should I just use my pb grief and throw in a broken sword or some such trash for the offhand?
I was leaning towards botd for the mana leech purposes as I was wearing duel bk and had a Cham in my arreats for the no freeze but don’t have any Mana leech with that set up

I wouldn’t say botd is trash. There’s purposes for its use
How is bk trash for a barb?

Grief does about 30-45% more damage than ebotd

1 skill does virtually nothing for barb

Gets me to about lvl 35 bo & +5 LL For both rings, also an extra 45 life each ring
My Botd gives +30 all attributes -25 target defense (cause grief doesn’t ignore bosses defense) 7 mana leech 395 Ed & an extra 200 Ed on undead
Also has 60 IAS
Also can’t duel ppl with grief that’s bm

it really all boils down to preference my man. I personally prefer frenzy barb but as far as gear choice goes theyre pretty similar. 2x grief phase blades are going to net you the most damage period, but i feel like its not necessary even in p8. I've ran dual grief, grief/death, grief/botd, and grief/last wish. I personally use grief/lw i can clear fast enough on p8 without having to worry about dieing because of the fade and lifetap i get from lw, on top of that your merc also benefits from the lifetap so they never die either. Ill give you a layout of my setup. im not saying its the best setup but it's the one i enjoy the most.

Helm - gface socketed with max/ar jewel
amulet - highlords
chest - enigma
main hand - grief pb
off hand - lw pb
belt - string of ears
ring 1 - raven
ring 2 - rare ring with ar/ml/ll/res/stats
boots - travs

enough dex to use your gear
enough vit to reach 3k hp with bo
rest into str for more damage

if you use arreats i suggest going for gore riders instead of travs. i have 260+ mf and im crushing players 8

Both botd and grief have Eth Rune
Grief has 20% DS
Grief have much more damage
Grief hve Mana and life after kill
Grief is in a faster base than ebotdz
Grief has smaller range added which is better for WW
Grief has ignore target defense for virtually always capped hit rate vs non bosses
Grief has 187% to demons. More monsters are demons than undead

You can duel with grief.
Grief is BM in melee. Not for bvc

Yeah I love WW I started as frenzy on ladder but WW is what I normally am & I’ve been looking at last wish so much lately I really wanted to make it but I just about vomit everytime I realize how expensive it is😂

However now that I’ve gone back to my WW spec I realized that no “chance to cast” ever procs so this was my new set up for it
