this works very well. If your char is a sorc, you can just tele to the wp.
easy peasy lemon squeezy.

Now in the old days we'd only have to kill travincal, and then you'd have a tp waiting at Mephisto and you were good to go. Now, you can't enter the tp if you don't actually do the quest first.

But there is a workaround. It's not as fast as it used to be, but it sure beats teleporting throughout Act 3 every time.

This workaround requires two different games.

1st game the person rushing creates the game and goes to Travincal with the quest obviously already completed. He opens a town portal in travincal and the person being rushed goes down the stairs. Now the person being rushed still can't go in a town portal in Durance of Hate. But he can walk to Durance level 2 and collect the waypoint (the rusher can obviously clear the way/find the next level/find waypoint fast.

Once you collect the waypoint the person being rushed creates new game and uses the waypoint directly to Durance level 2. After that he walks to durance level 3 behind the rusher and when Mephisto dies you can enter the Portal to Act 4.

they just changed the tp access rights for durance from "killing councils" to "smashing orb".
I'd say eventually people would find the "feature" op posted, but nothing really changed.
now you would either find more time to spend in a3 or find more reason to skip a3.

what's the point of a whole game full of places when people only play baal, diablo, and pvp outside of a1?

people still dont play act 3, they just wait for a TP to grab organs.
