Can't fix it but here is a good tip. Don't do it on the whisper log because that's obviously private messages.

I'm GAME chat type in /who

if your alone in a full game, your chat bugged. If 6 out of 8 players are listed, those 6 can see your text, not the other two. If, say, you and I are in a game together for a trade, first thing I do is type /who and now I know whether to whisper you in game or if u can see my chats. Gl hf

feature not a bug, make the game, leave the game, rejoin it, this solves it.

If I was a betting man, I'd put money on a data collection team being larger than the classic games team.

They may not check it like we do but to answer the rhetorical question, it's a 100% yes.

edit: I see you mentioned this is happening in d2r as well. fuck that game. I think this bug has been happening for about 5 years tho, not 15.

You said there was no workaround, but you can just do the !hello thing so people around you aren't left dry.

also that guy does have a point, unless you're trying to rally people to post on the blizz forums or make tickets



I'm pretty sure it's a spam filter, just without a notification.. Most games are on slow mode chat now once you post a few, but they tell you about it unlike d2.

This doesn't make sense on face value because it isn't consistent, I think they might use this as a method of catching the spam bots. Nobody who isn't using a spam script will continue posting a message at regular invervals during the chat ban.
- The chat ban started when all the bots disappeared.

Yup I been making this same complaint forever now.
Makes the game unplayable tbh. Bad enough we can't use cuss words. Now we can't even chat at all. Lol
