I don't understand why they don't just remove quantity. That's essentially all they've arrived at anyway after months of coding and testing rigmarole. They could have saved themselves a lot of time and money. It would also open up some throwing builds for other classes.
As for all the tears about PvP from people who are upset they have to adapt to new skills, builds and playstyles. Shut up. Diablo 2 was never designed for anything but PvM. The original developers simply created a hostility button so there was yet another threat of death in sanctuary, since that's what the gams is.
PvP in the original was broken, filled with bugs, exploits and imbalances. People learned to play around them and incorporate tier matchups and rules. The same will happen with D2R.
i agree that they should have just given unlimited quantity, its pretty much what they've done anyway in the most complicated way possible
as for my tears about PvP i think they are completely justified
D2 PvP was broken, filled with bugs and glitches that
BALANCED PvP and gave it life for 20 years
without these accidental bugs the PvP side of D2 is even more unbalanced and unplayable
its not a question of adapting to a broken game like alot of you guys keep saying as its alot more broken than those people realize & id rather just uninstall
in saying that i have no problem in adapting to new builds and new play styles IF the fucking game worked properly in the first place but it simply doesn't
i personally have never followed any rules in D2 pvp and have never needed to, im not an fpk'er im a pub scrub
if someone tells me i cant use a particular skill because its over powered and considered BM i will NK them into the dirt with that skill!
fix the damn game so its fun againThis post was edited by B00MAN on Mar 5 2022 06:06pm
