Ehmm, not sure how to respond to all this. Therefore, I will take it at face value, now that this has been moved to the strategy section ~

automods "i.e. 3 java skills" were never changed from class specific items, therefore for class specific items such as Maiden/Ceremonial and Matri Javs, the auto mod of +3 Jav skills was always possible in conjunction with +skills. I am happy to be corrected on this!

I dont see any difference between magical and rare ones in the video.

Then therefore arreat summit and maxroll and harrogath affix calculators are wrong, because they lock out rare javelins to 4 max according to their text and char editor webapp, affix calc

I had to do a bit of gymnastic's to get this (magic, 3 java, then switch to rare). might be a bug in their code.

My search for existing other photo evidence of 5/40 rare javelins came up with nothing, so I was leaning towards the guess that it was from an old patch.

So it's 2003 at latest. Definitely not 1.10 - d2r

i am still not sure i am right as there is no reason why the level is different (probably the maxroll coding)?
