I think that bots and automated shops made MUCH easier to "play the game" and that without them many players might have found d2 "too difficult" and therefore end up quitting (just a hypothesis) and thus we today could have an even smaller community, but that's just a theory of mine...
I've seen many people complaining about how hard is to lvl at the beginning of each ladder; or how hard is to farm good gear; and how many players sit on "drop games" waiting for items that otherwise they wouldn't find (because ofc they are not farming... they wait close to stash in act1 and that's it xD) but what ever could have happened it's just on our imagination. Bots are here and blizzard is happy with the way things are so I don't see anything changing (unless they shut down d2 servers lollll)
but hey! congratulations on that ber

the only 2 jahs I ever found I got them one from trav and the other (my first jah :')) in the wrong path going for the summoner in act2 (picture is in my galery photo section xD) so you might try looking for a jah there too (?)
