How can all all of EU play fine on one realm, but US can not? 20 years ago there would be delay between East and West but I would assume the infrastructure has been improved since then.

better fibre network and infrastructure? the whole place getting blown to shit a few times over the past century puts them ahead of us in a lot of ways for infrastructure.

Plus europe is actually a lot smaller than what you see on the map, so a lot of the times it will be like the equivalent of being at the top of england and trying to connect south east into turkey or more.

There wasn’t much infrastructure prior to WW2. I am assuming most lines in use today in both US and EU have been pulled the last 20 years if not less.

Europe is smaller than what it displayed as on a map compared to countries further south, this goes for US as well. Distance between LA and NY is roughly the same as from Dublin to Ankara I assume, not going to check.

If you have major ping issues when playing on East and you are from westcoast US then I guess it’s D2’s fault and not your connection, or is this a problem for all games?

First you dont need perfect gear to competitive pvp
Second you dont need a tas bot to competitively pvp
