Ladder reset is fun cause you start over and actually play the game.

It just took them longer to create the accounts versus d2lod when any key could play any account, but once those accounts are created proxies are up and it will be the same as LOD.

I've been hearing this projection since day 1 of release; doesn't seem to have materialized at an impactful scale yet for two months. We'll cross that bridge when we get there; it is bound to happen eventually. But this thread isn't about that now; is it?

Yeah, I just don't get the negativity towards d2og reset...if you don't want to play it, then don't.

well you brought up bots as the reason not to play LOD, but there are bots on D2R and some of the ban waves blizzard did to try to get them off attributed to some of the roll back challenges within the first couple weeks of launch. reality is, the pricing held up very similar as it did for LOD in the June 2020 reset. December 2020 reset was screwed because of all the server issues and June 2021 reset was screwed by D2R release date, so can't really use the past two resets for LOD as a point of reference. People always come back to play a ground zero start and if people have the cd keys anyway, I don't see why people wouldn't spend 2-4 weeks playing LOD for fun to have a fresh start while D2R works out it's issues.

Please refer back to my post; I didn't say I wouldn't play LoD because there are bots. On the contrary, I said I WOULD play LoD BECAUSE there were bots; since there are bots, prices are low, I get to play with high end stuff that I cannot afford on d2r. D2r is fun for the grind right now; d2lod is fun for the easy access to shiny gg toys you get to play with. If i had to choose, I would choose the grind; but I don't have to choose, so I say let's taste both flavors.

Your comments about prices being similar to June 2020 is inaccurate by a large margin; at least for HC. I don't play SC so can't comment on that. Server issues on dec 2020 wasn't for all regions; I also don't know what you are referring to by june 2021 reset being screwed by d2r. You mean the late notice? Whatever; all these issues prevent price falls if anything; and prices fall fast in d2lod; incomparable to d2r so far. I strongly disagree with your assessments. You are the first person who I have heard that claims d2r prices are comparable to d2lod where yogi crushes the market in 2 weeks
