I agree with all of this. I don't precast though. Insight Golem is best bro.

Do you guys put any points in iron golem to keep it alive? I think I put some leftovers in blood golem to boost iron's hp. Golems made from non-eth insights seem to live longer for me, but that's anecdotal

Insight golem is a nice interim, can make it in any base. Damage doesn’t matter.

Obedience is gg for what it costs you to use on merc. infinity should be the last piece of the puzzle.

Pride is good, but not required, insight is just fine for the iron golem. It’s kinda a high risk to spend that kind of fg on pride to turn item into iron golem. But it’s really good.

So I would say this is the order:

Insight golem/obedience merc
Add enigma
Add beast
Add infinity to merc.
Add pride as iron golem (since you will never get it back)

You just want your golem to live, damage is horrible on IG it will cause him to kill himself. I focus on my skele and revive army more than golem. I like to make mine out of a crap low base insight with a High med.

I don't rely on him for damage at all. Just to be be my mana bitch. I just care about him living.

Lol I always build my army up and hope he runs around and doesn't attack anything . I get nervous when he's trying to fight stuff. I want my IG to be the team mascot haha
