It’s about effective damage.

Using a 5/5/10fcr scepter will still take 2 hammers to kill your opponent just like using hoto will still take 2 hammers.

2 hammers is 2 hammers. Whether or not the first one does more damage or not is of little consequence.

So you give up 30fcr, 20 life rep, 40 res for no reason. Stupid af

It’s going to take either 2 or 3 hammers to (3 for some Paladins and 3 for all barbs) kill your opponent. Less than 1% of circumstances will swapping to the 5/5 scepter over hoto change this.

All in all, it’s incredibly stupid to drop hoto
