I don't find it weird the monsters can drop high end items, I find it weird when I actually find them... best I ever find are usually Shakos and Hoz, but anything worth more than that is on the whim of trading or using fg. Found an Ohm in Act 1 Hell about a month and half.

Most random for me was a Jah rune off a trash mob archer in the Pits. Even got a screenie!

Niceee this actually reminded me of my Occy that dropped on Summoner while I was running through Hell on my Sorc. The key bosses have been pretty good to me since launch.

That's a sickkk find, my first Magi at release had 34res the DR was pretty trash but I love finding items my char actually needs on my playthrough, it almost feels as good as finding a HR. Although it takes a lot to overpower the excitement you get when a Ber drops.
