Anyone else getting that? I was online when blizzard server crashed

I got this message since 11:00 today and still getting it

I have not tried, so i guess i let it pass and see xD

no realm down here and i haven t played since the beginning of this ladder .
i just tried to log into bnet , works . creating or joining game works too .

I was playing late friday late night lot, when I was logging of early morning all was ok

afternoon saturday logged in and " checking versions/ cant connect bnet "

wtf is that?

same here. contacted support. they said 2 weeks restriction.
some people got away with 24 hours, some of us got 2 weeks

for what? for being legit? nice

it does not matter if you are legit or not. If you were online while the crash happened there is a chance of it to happen.
The problem is restriction applies to your IP and key

so it was not ban, blizzard was probably tinkering with their servers, my friend managed to solve my problem .... i am not expert for internet but probably bnet servers changed ip or something...

I just removed this line from my host files: 5.42.181.18 europe.battle.net which I added few years ago in my host file... that time it was fix against "checking versions" issue

so I assume people who applied this fix in the past might experience same issues

this is the solution how to fix "connecting to fastest server" thing now
