How would this help?

This is only happening to this one character. The rest still function like they should.

Which keybindings should I change then?
I see nothing related to my cursor in the keybinding

i guess you could try to force dropping item by manually sending a packet to the server, but you'd need bad roboto for that

So no one has experienced something similar, and knows a "quick fix" for this?

I guess my character is lost then. Such a bummer, considering it has all my valuables....

Same thing happened to me sometime ago. Wer you playing the Diablo 09 priv server? (thats what did it for me). Response from devs/blue on the blizzard forums was basically:


"Looks like you were playing on some illegal servers. We've seen this before, and am not sure how to correct. We highly recommend a fresh install and deleting the character and removing all 3rd party programs, as they will jeopardize your account."


You will have to delete the character (if you want to use the same name), and I recommend reinstalling, as I'm sure you're cube showed the Plugy cube size, which is actually why it happens (game tries to squeeze item into a full cube oin bnet, but glitches into getting stuck on ur cursor I guess because the game also catches the plugy cube size too.

The Blizzard support really isnt much help, huh?

I would definitely do a reinstall. Also clearing 3rd party programs before reinstalling.
I have never had this happen before. However I do think just deleting this char is unwise. if you have the patience just log on it once or twice a day and try to drop the item.

I've tried logging in on different machines. That sadly did not help. I'm gonna continue to check once or twice a day, to see if I am able to drop the item...
