The staff itself may have bonuses to specific Sorceress skills (staffmods):

There are certain rules for which skills may appear together; you cannot have any arbitrary combination.

well there are some hybrid runewords, like nigma of peace and beast of doom.
but its not all, i don't think there exists any hybrid runeword between insight and infinity
maybe a llitlle off-topic :/

to keep it the easiest way

insight --> gives mana aura bonus --> meditation

infinity --> gives lower res/def bonus --> conviction

Those tables are very complicated for me. Can you tell me exactly which staff mods can be made into insight and what can't? If I can't get fire ball on it, what can I get?
