To answer your question, negative enemy light resists will do NOTHING against Light Immunes... you could have -100% and you still couldn't hurt them cuz they are Immune.

Only way to break Immunity is with Lower Resist or Conviction and even then it doesn't always work if the monster has really high resists. After you break their immunity is when your negative enemy resists would help.
