It's worth to mention, that a chant sorc should have in stash:

Level 1+:
- short bow (optional: 3 sox with chipped amethyst, which give pretty useful AR bonus on low lvls. )
level 6+
- death set ( gloves + belt: 30 % ias, some res, and cannot be frozen)
level 12+
-Angelic (2 rings + amu, they add a bunch of life and AR, dex!-> will be useful for Raven later)
level 15+
-Cap -> soxed with two flawless amethysts, they add the str wich you will need for twich and Raven
-Raven
level 16+
-Twich (giving ias)

Also it's pretty good to stat 51 dex and get a shard + some decent 30/20shield (maybe even twitch), so you can rush normal/nightmare if you stat a bit into teleport and fireball.
