I discussed this with Bashiok yesterday.

He told me they feel quite amused by the general level of ignorance on Diablo II forums. Currently laughing their butts off, so to speak.

He wondered when you will actully visit their official sites for the latest news.
He also wanted to thank the community for its feedback regarding the PTR and probable content of Patch 1.13. Building on your constructive, repetitive, and widespread criticism, they feel obliged to maintain high standards.

Verily, your undying gratitude towards every patch is what keeps this game alive.
