So, does anyone else know the trick to finding the summoner?

Good to hear.

I'm afraid the Summoner has to be located by trial and error. At least I still haven't found a genuine method similar to finding Nihlathak.
If anyone knows whether one such exists, it would please me to be informed about it.

All I know is that statistically you should navigate the fastest through the Tower Cellar levels by following the left wall from each entrance.
Around 90% of the time it should work. This is just a convenient means for quickly reaching the Countess.

I haven't been able to discern any pattern in the placement of the Tower, given the placement of the Black Marsh waypoint.
Too many possible locations, I guess.

Time to refresh this topic again, for the avid dest key hunters who may not know.

Maybe there is, but anyway, it's simple.

Starting from DoH L2 waypoint, teleport clockwise hugging the edge wall, as viewed on the automap.

Roughly 90-95 % of the time, it should be the fastest way. In rare events the stairs to L3 are not located along the edge.
