one of my buddies had this happen he had to wait like 1 or 2 weeks then he was able to get back on the acct

I did read sometimes it's a 14 day temp restriction so I will try then. I did send a ticket to blizzard to see if they can maybe kick the toon off

you will need to make an account on blizzard forums but since there is an apparent staff shortage you wont actually chat or speak with a human. i heard from reading on the forums theres only about 1 guy handling the entire support forums for d2 legacy. even if you can reach someone and people have contacted real human support before they do nothing "its out of my control" or " cant help" is what you will most likely get. there was a few topics in this forum where the outcome and the error was the same.

if you are only losing a hdin on a new ladder consider yourself lucky it happened to an account of non value.

incorrect language

its an ip restriction. a ban is forever a restriction is temporary.

it depends what happened to cause this. vpns or packet spamming will not cause a incorrect password.

if you are vpn or ip restricted its similar but you wont be able to get past login screen
wait in line is when you can log in just cant make any games.
an actual cdkey account ban does not target the ip you can make other accounts with other keys but odds are it will also ban those keys.

language does matter. diablo 2 does not ban ip addresses, blizzard does restrict them for a period yes but never a ban this happens at the cdkey account level. if you are on the forums then yes they ban a lot of accounts and ip addresses.
