i went to jail for 6 months and lost like 50k worth of items i had sold my barb so i had like 15k fg when i came home but i was sad i kept those accounts alive since i was like 11 in 5th grade i was preserving an irl friends account as well that also expired.

i have scripts i made that automatically do this with logging and it works with all patches. You could have sent me your account+password list and i could have batch refreshed it in a few hours/days for hundreds of accounts and kept it active indefinitely. There is one major condition is i dont give out the script or programs i make its not open source.

I have done it for many of the friends i played with because they leave d2. Sometimes they give out accounts and cdkeys before they go but this was more common back in the 05-09 days. Sadly refreshing other players accounts is not really done anymore because almost no one plays d2.


there was a ban in 2017, i lost my main accounts and also around 50 lvl 99s in total. I must have lost upwards of idk fg it was painful. What i think about most is my collection of godz hybrids and 08 highlords. I got the list on my imgur account of stuff that got deleted.

I somewhat feel your pain but mine was a long time ago.

In 2008 in december I let my brother use my account, as I was going to basic training in a month, expecting him to use it not really worried about coming back to it. There was a mass banning right before that, and that account had one of the last permed imp shanks on us west at the time plus numerous legit 3/20/20 small charms as well as a fully loaded bvc build. My brother had his account banned as did many others over what they though was not against the rules(forget what it was now] either way despite all this he let the account expire instead of logging in, I was fine not having any of it but he let everything go to waste.

I think I had a few 1.8 rare rings on the account too.

I lost all of mine, around 2006 maybe.

I lost full accounts of patch 1.06 classic dupes, and patch 1.08 uniques.... As well as probably 10 full accounts of pre-patch SOJ's.

I can't handle the account deletion crap any longer... and this is one of the biggest positives about D2R for me. I quit for 2 years and came back and still had all my stuff.

items lost a lot in value so your 5k is probably 500.
also you probably never had 5k worth of items so you lost close to nothing.

it's 2024. universe gave you a good chance to move on.

I feel you man. Likewise I lost all my gg chars during certain periods of my life.

And that's why i shifted to d2r since there are no worries about char expiry.

Just keep your toons fresh, simple lol

should of self isolated when u had covid and logged in every now nd then, however pixels aint everything not really lost anything other than valuable time of your life thoughout those 12 years collecting such pixels
