So it's changed in d2r then? Because in d2, in nightmare and hell, area level determined item level, not monster level, unless champion or unique boss monster+minions.

Terrorzones may have it's own mechanic though, i don't play d2r so i wouldn't know.

only reason to go beyond lvl 93 for chrackter lvl is 94 for Boss Treasure Classes as mlvl 99 opens a new roll. That´s why TZ 96 turns Andy basically into baal for TC87 farming

that´s why in d2 you only focused on Champs & Uniques for TC87 + Baal/Pindle/Nilathek

For Ammys you need ilvl 88+ so lvl 86 and you can get call crafts (for example 2 skill 20FCR)

Correction here you only need ilvl 91 (pre terrorzones there where no ilvl 91 Monsters)

so Charackter lvl 89 is enough for rerolling Grand Charms from Terrorzones
