you need the tc of the area your in and remember if the monster was unique champ or normal or use an item ilvl viewer.

to use item ilvl reader set scripts.useraddon = true or use any memory reading tool if you want to script one yourself.

for basic gearing when starting ladder i have found this method to be reasonably fast:

clear norm on a vita bliz sorc
clear nm
make nm cows (you will be 40-60 range here)
clear cows with zero mf and look for 4 socket swords and any 4 socket polearm damage does not matter and make insight, its purely for the mana regen
go back to norm make lore helm
grab any 2 socket armor (shop helms armors white from act 2) and make steath, if you have found a lum make smoke
make a caster craft amulet, any roll as any item is better then no item
find a low str belt with max rows
any rings but i use ones with fcr but anything helps
any gloves
shield i use ancients pledge or splendor because finding a 4 soc monarch will take a few days
any boots
a merc with a tal mask for leach
make a eth bug armor and make stone as you wont have Lo for fort. when you get Lo hel+tp stone and make fort


move to hell as soon as possible and get all game warps

you could clear cold mf areas like ancient tunnels ect but i head stright to chaos when my damage is around 3k bliz and merc does around 1k damage physical. you will have 4 types of damage: static(light) firewall(optional) light- lightening merc(physical) you dont need to make a hybrid but sometimes i do add a single point into firewall and fire mastery its not very useful so i stopped as if you encounter a fully immune monster: cold + phy immunity just exit game and redo chaos no one cares lol no need to waste points and make the build 5-7% weaker to kill one more monster.

also level in parall a bo barb. go to hell act 5 and shop some 3 wc sticks, gamble a 3 wc amulet, find a 3 wc white base helm and make delirium as a temp item then swap that garbage out with a rare 5 or 6 bo helm just throw it on the floor and continue upgrading barbs wc skills with gcs.

you will easily find hrs in hell chaos with this method its time tested dont even waste time mfing in norm or nm just drop into hell chaos asap
