idk where I got those pronounciations from... but they make total sense to most players from what I've seen

I remember a thread in which people kept arguing over pronunciations. Bear rune vs. Burr rune, merk vs. merce and sork vs. sorce were debated a lot amongst others

People debated on Baal, Mephisto and Magi too but if you listen to some NPC's it's mentioned

Oh and, for Mephisto... in d1 (yes Mephisto is mentioned in d1) and d2 it's fist-o, but in a d3 interview they said it was fee-sto, who knows

Played with a guy that said "a-mee-thist" when pronouncing amethyst. I told him how to properly say amethyst and he immediately yelled at me saying that "everyone pronounces made up diablo 2 words differently."

After I was done hysterically laughing I told him amethyst are real. Never heard from him again.
