ikr, they shoulda just worked on a new expansion and let us upgrade our chars from classic > Lod > new exp. as we pleased

I doubt people gonna come back to D2 LoD. Lets remember: the same people who are crying about how aweful D2R is, have been crying about LoD for over a decade and still kept playing. Those are addicts.

LOD was perfect for years before D2R was released and everyone sold their gg gear for FG so they could buy D2R gear just to find out its broken trash and they never went back to LOD
PvP worked well in LOD and thats the only thing that kept it alive for so long
D2R is just a boring repetitive PVM game
only chance it has to survive long term is if they put some effort into fixing PVP

No one will go back to LoD. There is only a small minority that even cares about pvp. It’s been trash in lod and it’s trash in D2R.

I don't think most ppl play the game for PvP. Sure, a lot of the outspoken people do, but wast majority of the playerbase is not playing the game 6-10 hours a day, but 1.5 hours a day. If you don't grind the living shit out of the game - or buy a lot of stuff - you never get into pvp.
The outspoken ones in the blizz forums etc. are not casuals and do not represent the majority of the playerbase. They are outspoken grinders....some of whom grind for the holy grail or for pvp.
