hoping d2r will play on my computer, but if it does whats the best most affordable mf char to make, i was thinking a blizz/frozen orb sorc?
are hammerdins good for mf? lmk your thoughts, i am dusty and come from the melee world of lod, looking to get back to my roots.

If softcore, i guess getting straight to hell mephisto runs with any kind of ranged telesorc is the best strategy. Hydra is a great ranged skill that let you do the moat trick. As i understand hydra has been upgraded in d2r. Frozen orb is a great secondary skill to keep.

Cheapest mf character, that would be sorc. Because she already got teleport, so no need for enigma

Just remember to put a point to tele. Ok, I admit I forgot to do so once...

Blizzard Sorc

blizz sorc is fun to play and effective to mf with

get a 4 x pdia monarch
4 x ptopaz armor
3 x ptopaz helmet
rest random items to get some +skills, some fhr, more res and more mf.

For leveling maybe go frozen orb because its strong and really fun to play with, even if you are low level and have no gear

Full Tals Sorc usually works the best for me personally infinity on the merc would be cherry on top

Thanks for replies all! D2r did end up working. Its a little slow in new mode but managable. I ended up making a sorc. Gonna go for blizz/ frozenorb. I had one years ago and am comfortable playing that char. Normally i would just use a bunch of random skill gears like occy shako soj. But full tals would be cool because purple...and you get the glow.

Also was thinking about if there wasnt tokens lmao. Cant imagine back in the day if i messed up a skill remaking whole char...omg

What do you socket the gear with?
